Andy Sidden and Candace Chellew,

pastor and associate pastor of Garden of

new path of discernment leading to ordained

Formation, and Knowledge and Skills. They have submitted those portfolios to
the Church and Ministry Committee of the Georgia South Carolina Association.
Both Andy and Candace worked closely with Conference staff, Kathy Clark and
Tim Downs. Conference Minister Tim Downs noted upon reviewing their
respective portfolios "both Andy and Candace as candidates for ordained has
demonstrated a high level of giftedness for ministry that is evidenced in their
experience as well as education, and I have every confidence that this is just the
first step of training and credentialing ministers who will serve the needs of our
congregations faithfully and well".
